Responsible professionals with respected careers in finance, environmental engineering and business management guide Spectraserv's development and operations.  The senior management of the firm consists of Mr. Steven A. Townsend, President and Chief Executive Officer; Mr. John Wengryn, Senior Vice President; Mr. John A. Robbins, Treasurer/Comptroller; Mr. Frank Senske, Senior Vice President; Mr. Jesus Urriola, Vice President and Mr. Steve Kulcsar, Vice President.

Mr. Townsend, a chemical engineer by training, has extensive management and financial experience with Spectraserv predecessors and with the Philadelphia Water Department. Mr. Townsend was appointed Spectraserv’s President and CEO in 1983 and has guided the firm through its growth and diversification during his 25 year tenure.

Mr. Wengryn has built a career in executive administration, primarily in the waste industry, and guides Spectraserv's daily operation.  Mr. Wengryn has come up through the ranks with the company during his 35-year career with Spectraserv and uses his experience to ensure that Spectraserv provides cost effective services for its clients.  

As Treasurer, Mr. Robbins relies on his extensive accounting and risk management experience to assure Spectraserv's fiscal soundness.  Mr. Robbins joined Spectraserv in 1982 and has overseen its fiscal management and insurance programs as well as its human resource functions.

Mr. Senske, an engineer with academic emphasis in the environmental field, has over 20 years concerned himself with Spectraserv‘s regulatory compliance and technical management issues as they relate to all aspects of the company’s operations.

Mr. Urriola has been with Spectraserv for 38 years rising to the position of Vice President after starting with the firm as a truck driver. Today, Mr. Urriola is charged with allocating Spectraserv’s labor and equipment resources for both its Waste Operation and Construction Divisions daily activities.

Mr. Kulcsar joined Spectraserv in 1987 as part of the start-up of the firm’s new Construction Division. Mr. Kulcsar applies his engineering expertise and experience to the overall management of the Construction Division’s daily and long-term operations.
