Spectraserv's construction division has over twenty years of experience installing water and wastewater treatment equipment on a total system or segment basis. In addition, Spectraserv rehabilitates and repairs existing systems. Its capabilities in this area draw on extensive hands-on familiarity with sludge, water and wastewater treatment plants and the many treatment technologies they utilize.
Specific examples of the work performed by Spectraserv's Construction Division include the following:
- Plant expansion and upgrades
- Pump station rehabilitation
- Full turnkey general construction services
- Process mechanical, electrical and instrumentation
- Installation of headworks and pretreatment systems
- Installation of sludge dewatering and conveying systems
- Installation of biosolids drying systems
- Lagoon, tank, and digester cleanout and repair
Along with the contracting services provided for water and wastewater treatment plants, Spectraserv has performed design/build contracts including the permitting, design and construction of its own residuals processing plant and two wastewater treatment plants for the Department of Corrections in the State of New Jersey.
Spectraserv has also utilized its experience in the operation and maintenance of its own residuals processing plant to develop the skills necessary to deliver O&M services to municipal and industrial clients. Spectraserv plant operators and skilled technicians can provide a range of functions from technical oversight to daily operation and maintenance tasks for water, wastewater and residual management facilities.
In addition to experience in waste management, Spectraserv also provides services in the area of general construction and rehabilitation of sewage treatment plants and pump stations. Over the past several years, our Construction Division has expanded into new areas such as Design/Build Projects, Incineration Systems and Beneficial Reuse Systems.
